Greetings! My name is DeWayne Kittrell. I’ve been a part of the Funshine family for over 17 years, 15 of which I’ve been the Pre-Kindergarten teacher. I received my degree in Early Childhood Education through Ivy Tech and continue to expand my knowledge of Early Childhood Education by attending trainings throughout the year. I enjoy collaborating with other professionals in my field to ensure the best experiences and education possible for my students.
My goal for each student that comes through my classroom is to make a positive difference in each of their lives. The Pre-Kindergarten program focuses not only on academics, but on teaching the children independence, curiosity, confidence and helping the children develop a lifelong love of learning.

My name is Ms. Pavla and I was born in the Czech Republic and have a Masters Degree in Education and a degree in Special Education. Before I moved to the United States, I was a high school teacher for students with special needs for 5 years. I love to educate children and teaching means much more than lessons and standards. I am responsible for creating an environment of support that allows children to develop their own ideas, express their feelings, take risks, make choices, and most of all grow to be strong, thinking individuals. My goal is teaching children to love learning by being an observer, a supporter, a facilitator, and always a good role model. My biggest passion is a healthy lifestyle, helping others, and making positive changes in children's lives.

Welcome to Infant Care at Funshine! My name is Ms. Donna. I’ve been at Funshine since the opening of the infant room in 2007. I have 20 years of experience working with infants. I’ve always had a passion and love for children even at a young age.
Beginning in the infant room, our babies learn social/emotional, gross and fine motor skills that prepare them for “toddler-hood”. We also believe that music is a healing art and we use many different kinds during the day from classical, lullabies, to spoken nursery rhymes. This aids in language development as well as the reading we do on a daily basis.
I have four grown children, two granddaughters, one grandson and twin step granddaughters. I also have two grand dogs! My husband and I enjoy country living and all that outdoor enjoyment!

Hi, my name is Ms. Lindsey! I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. I currently live in the Castleton area with my fiancée and our son, Miles, who was born on Valentine’s Day! I've been caring for children since I, myself was a child. My grandmother has run an in-home daycare for 35 years. I spent a majority of my time there as kid. I loved helping my grandma care for the younger kids and I happily took on more responsibilities as I got older. I believe it is my job as an early childhood educator to provide children with an environment where they feel free to be themselves, comfortable to express feelings and opinions, not afraid to ask questions, and most of all, feel like an important and valued part of a community. When children feel confident and safe in their environment, they are able to branch out, explore, and fully immerse themselves in play.
